Description

APPLICATION FEATURES
AFCIRON is a range of an Iron Oxide used as a Hot Additive to be added to Cores and Moulds in Oil, Shell, Cold box etc. type of process to improve hot strength. Generally 0.5 % to 0.7 % is sufficient for excellent hot strength.
PRODUCT FEATURES
AFCIRON :
 

  • It imparts exceptionally high and uniform Hot Strength
  • It gives strong cores/ moulds and good storage stability without surface deterioration.
  • It develops uniform build-up with very low gas evolution. · Better knock out property and easier machinability.
  • It provides good casting surface finish, hence economical due to reduced fettling and cleaning costs.
PRECAUTIONS
  • Store the products in dry place and soon after use Close the Container tightly to avoid external contamination like moisture etc.
  • Above products may evolve certain amount of fume, but they are non-toxic at normal concentration and will not cause any problem in proper ventilated foundry.
  • Always maintain plenty of water & First-Aid box for any cause of Irritation like harmful if inhaled, swallowed etc or otherwise contact Physician immediately.
