INTRODUCTION: These are parting agents used for all types of patterns & core boxes to ensure good strip of sand on parting.

APPLICATION : Mix AFCIPART well & then apply it evenly on the pattern or core box. AFCIPART being free flowing is suitable for application by swabbing, brushing or spraying. It should preferably be sprayed onto pattern equipment & core boxes to obtain thin coating which is sufficient to ensure a number of clean, non – clogging lifts & also most economical. For shell moulding, pattern equipments must be thoroughly degreased with trichloroethylene & coat with a thin film of translucent silicon grease. Then heat the pattern equipment to operating temperature for ten minutes & apply AFCIPART by spraying. One application of AFCIPART gives an average of about twelve clean, troubles – free lifts, but depending on conditions & method of use, many more lift can often be obtained. In case of green sand moulding with new pattern & new core box, pattern equipment must be coated each time it is used. Alternatively brushing & swabbing application can obtain excellent results.

DESCRIPTION: AFCIPART is a thin liquid containing special water repellent substances. When applied by swabbing, painting or preferably spraying, to loose patterns, pattern plates, core boxes etc. It enables numerous clean, non – clogging strips to be made with one application. It is particularly useful in machine moulding where the time is saved as compared with having dust on parting powder for each new mould, resulting in considerably increased out put. It can be used with plaster, wood, metal or any other pattern material including new plastics.

ADVANTAGES: A) Non – Toxic B) Save Time C) Easy to apply D) Cheap to use E) Produce shaper definition F) Numerous lifts per application G) Prevent corrosion of pattern equipment H) No silicosis hazards of parting powder PRECAUTIONS: 1. Non – toxic & safe to use. 2. Soon after use close the container tightly. 3. Always keep plenty of water & First –Aid Box ready. 4. Normal safety aids like goggles, hand-gloves should be used.
