Description
AFCICOAT series of highly thixotropic refractory coating with in built anti fungus and anti settling properties specially recommended for a good surface finish and dimensional accuracy for ferrous and non ferrous castings.
AFCICOAT is available in slurry form having excellent fluidity characteristics can be achieved by dilution from
20 – 40 % to specified viscosity as per individual application need.
AFCICOAT is also available in paste & powder form

INSTRUCTION FOR USE:
AFCICOAT must be thoroughly stirred & shaken before being used & the lid should be replaced on the container immediately after use. Afcicoat may be sprayed, brushed / swabbed or dipped on to the mold or core surface to be treated.

OVEN DRYING –
After application, the treated surfaces of moulds or cores are kept in the oven starting from 30 O to 160 O C 7 later taken out & kept outside for air drying & this is generally complete within about 1-1 ½ hour in case of oven drying & later moulds can be closed & cast immediately.
